Payreq Sends One Millionth Document!

March 05, 2020

Payreq passed a major milestone in February, sending the Millionth document through the digital document delivery platform.

“The maturity of the Payreq proposition and scalable platform has been proven for some time now”, said CEO Brian White. “But this is a nice milestone to celebrate for any innovator. We are already looking forward to helping more Billers and Payers enjoy better billing improving cost, certainty, speed and security.”

Most of the document data delivered so far by Payreq is local and state government tax invoices and utility bills from larger volume Billers in the Australian economy.

In North America, the Payreq MyPay business has also been growing, enabling staff of dozens of employers to receive pay advices securely through the Payreq Canada Post epost digital delivery service available to Canadian and US citizens.

“We are looking forward to significant Biller and registered Payer growth in 2020” says Payreq Founder and Chairman Andrew Stein. “Some large Billers in Australia and significant Employers in Canada have seen what Payreq technology can achieve and are mobilising to reap the use case benefits over traditional paper or email delivery.”

With recent ISO 27001 certification and accreditation by the Australian and NZ governments for PEPPOL e-Invoicing, Payreq has gone from start-up to scale-up. With a bright future ahead for the Billers and Payers.
